Dianne -- Thank you for your reply --- this is the same family that lived across the Clinton Brook from my grandfather , in Newfoundland , West Milford Twp. Passaic Co. NJ -- one of the Demouth daughters married Peter D. Vreeland --- the Vreeland and Post families are connected way back thiought the Eckhart Family ------ When I was growing up in the area ( Newfoundland ) - one of the Demouth daughter`s lived in the homestead and had a life right ( lived there with the Freeman Family ) but the life-right ended with her and the Freeman family was forced to move out at her death --- the property went back to some heirs and was bought by a member of the Vreeland family ---

1850 Census - Passaic Co., NJ, West Milford Township - Electa is living with the family of Daniel Higbie, clergyman. Form gives her birthplace As Penn. I believe this is an error.
Electa married Peter D. Vreeland and they stayed in West Milford, NJ, (at least through 1880) .
