Who's Who in Engineering. Seventh edition, 1988. Edited by Gordon Davis. Washington, DC: American Association of Engineering Societies, 1988. (WhoEng 7)
In a posting of an obituary for Robert F. Post, mechanical and hydraulics engineer, the following sentence appears: "and was honored with the Charles W. Britzius Lifetime Achievement Award."
This from Google: Charles W. Britzius Distinguished Engineer Award
This award is designed to recognize outstanding lifetime achievements in the practice of engineering, contributions to the engineering profession, and actions enhancing the image of engineering in our society. Charles W. Britzius is the epitome of the distinguished engineer, having excelled in all three areas recognized by the award: he was the founder of Twin City Testing, Inc.; was a long-time contributor to MSPE and ASCE; served as mayor of Deephaven; and was a tireless supporter of numerous professional and civic causes.
The above was found on a site entitled: "Minnesota Federation of Engineering,Science, and Technology Societies

The only son in my mother's family was Julius Krause. He was married to my cousin Lydia,
Zimmerman who was Peter Zimmerman's daughter. They had one child, a sweet little girl whom they
called Mabel. When she grew up she became a very fine pianist and an instructor of the piano. A few
years after the death of her mother, Mabel who had not married became an invalid due to stroke, and she
never recovered. It seems that there were hemorrhages in the brain which affected her ability to talk and
think. We were all saddened by her condition. She passed away October 24, 1951.

Per Wayne Olson:
Listed in "History and Genealogy of the Family of Thomas Noble", compiledby Lucius M. Boltwood and printed privately. Birth year listed as 1765.
From "Genealogy and History of the Derthicks and Related Derricks", By Spencer and Goodpasture. Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore, 1986:
Says there is a record of Dr. William Sheldon in Clarence in early1800's (by children's birth dates, as early as 1797) and may have been the one who purchased land in 1803. Had son named William.
According to Commemorative Biographical Record of the Counties of Rock,Green, Grant, and Lafayette", J.H. Beers, Co., Chicago, 1901: William Sheldon was a farmer in New York, and reached the age of 75.
From Judy Cain, who posted land purchase info onsearches.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/archives/ny/deeds/holland.txt.
Info from "Pioneer History of the Holland Purchase of Western New York by O. Turner, published in 1850. Reports 1803 purchase of land from Holland parcel by William Sheldon, Township 11, Range 6. Intro to website indicates that the book contains much more than the simple listing.. "There is information of genealogical value about some of the family names mentioned in the list..." No Derrick or Sexton or Saxton listed through 1807.
