Turo Daily News - May 9, 1910 - "Robery Higgins died April 30 at Tatamagouche - Mr. Robert Higigns at the great age of 84 years, died at Tatamagouche on Saturday April 30. He left six children in his immediate family. There are three sons, Charles in Boston, and George and Barney at home; and three daughters, Mrs. E. McCallum, Truro; Mrs. Leander Weatherbee at home, and Mrs. Annie C. Phinney, Boston.
The funeral took place on May 2, at two o'clock p.m., from the home residence, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Ingram. At the grave the members of the Orange Order ha charge, and interment was made at the Tatamagouche Mountain cemetery, with Orange honors."

One of the Kluesner branches of the family moved to the Fayette area of Missouri in 1882. When they did so, they changed the spelling of their name to Kleasner rather than Kluesner. Ferdinand became tired of people pronouncing his last name incorrectly so he simply changed the spelling.

Zimmerman history packet contains a letter written from Philip Nelson to folks back home during a visit to Althein, Hessen in 1934. He mentions Hitler. He was in Europe studying piano.
Philip Rovang Nelson became a concert pianist and gave piano lessons. (ALVL.)
