Per Spencer and Goodpasture: Zolona has been the foremost biographer of Ephraim Derrick and his descendants. She has preserved mnany of the memorabilia of the Derrick family, including the highly valuable family record book in which Ephraim Derrick kept his log of family births, deaths, and marriages.
Derek Greenlee writes "Zolona is an anagram of Alonzo." in an email 9 Aug 2007. And, "My grandmother, Helen Elvira Winters was Zolona's older sister. Grandma just passed about a month ago. We always called Zolona Babe. Zolona's eldest sister Belle was deaf and apparently couldn't say baby and Babe came out. "
