Additional Information

Jonathan Gould:

Notes:

10 Aug 2013 from Evelyn Palmer - Since I had the name of Eliza's parents, I searched for Jonathan Gould. I found him in the 1830 census and the 1840 census. On these censuses Jesse Hills was living very near to Jonathan. The children match the ages we have for Alpha, Jane and Eliza but there is another son who would have been born between 1810 and 1815. Who is he? I was unable to find Jonathan in either 1820 or 1850.

See notes for Pamelia Gould : JESSE HILL / HILLS (1807 - 1862) 1830-40 residence: Hebron, Washington, NY
Civil War: Co. B 16th Regt Inf., residence Concord, enl. 24 Oct 1861
Remarks: MIA, 6 Apr 1862, Shiloh, TN
m. (1) Pamelia Gould (1807 NY-05 Dec 1847 WI) parents: John Burr & Mary (Moore) Gould

Burnett County Sentinel 31 Jan 1895:
DIED-- On the 11th of Jan. 1895 at the residence of H.L. Ingalls, Mrs. Lydia E. Hardell at the advanced age of 72 years, 7 months and 2 days. The deceased never fully recovered from an attack of the Grippe, and for the past two years needed almost constant care which was cheerfully given, for who so dear as grandmother. Mrs. H.L. Ingalls is her only daughter, her only son dying in infancy.

This world is but a rugged road,
Which leads us to the bright abode,
    Of Peace above.

So let us choose the narrow way,
    Which leads no traveller astray,
    From realms of love.

    [Shared coutesy of Evelyn Palmer.]
